The Fly is often present in PG Thelander’s art.
It appears in the 60s and returns from time to time
us an uninvited guest, or as a spectator.
Sometimes, the fly has also upholds the main role,
stands alone and dominates the image.
In art history, the fly has various symbolic values as a
reminder of the everyday, trivial, the impermanence
of life and its fragility.
