It has been said that every architect should build a chair.

Such a project was recently finalised at the

Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm.

Initiator was Arkipelago, a student run business group at KTH.

The project was implemented in KTH's workshop.

Architect students received the task to build a chair.

Only untreated birch was allowed, no visible screws could be

present and the maximal sizes were 55 x 55 x 100 cm.

Otherwise the thought was free.

These unique chair are now shown at STUDIO L2
