T H E   R E D   R O O M

STUDIO L² in the Old Town, Stockholm, is located at Kindstugatan,

which is mentioned 4 times in the novel "The Red Room" by August Strindberg.

STUDIO L² uses the red colour as a theme for the month of May and as an associative

celebration to the great author.* 

Red is the colour which is the fastest of all colours to be registered by the brain. It takes only 0.02 seconds.

It is a strongly symbolically loaded colour: love, liturgy, warning, prohibition...
